2/9 Bell 505s land in Chile


Bell Helicopter recently delivered two of a total of nine Bell 505 Jet Ranger X light single engine helicopters to Santiago, Chile-headquartered Eagle Copters South America.

According to a company statement, the aircraft will be used for corporate transportation – a popular sector for the 505 to be used in, aside fro tourism and light utility.

Eagle Copters has a diversified fleet of aircraft and helicopters available for charter or utility missions. The company is the regional representative for Piper aircraft, Bell and Robinson helicopters in South America.

“We are excited to announce the first two of nine Bell 505s have been delivered to our friends at Eagle Copters South America,” confirmed Bell Helicopter Latin America VP Jay Ortiz earlier. “With the latest in technology and the best-in-class ride, the Bell 505 is the choice aircraft for those who are travel savvy and require a quiet cabin to conduct business during flights.”

The Bell 505’s flat-floor, open cabin is configurable for a wide variety of missions and payloads, with a maximum capacity of four passengers or configured for internal cargo missions by removing quick disconnect rear cabin seats, and even the copilot seat if required.
