Pilatus Reports Record 2008 Figures
A total of 114 aircraft left the new assembly hall Stans in 2008
23/04/2009
Pilatus sales ($569 million), incoming orders ($851 million) and order volume ($1,031 million) at the end of 2008, were higher than ever recorded by the company since it was established in 1939.
In spite of higher sales, operating profit ($47 million) was slightly lower than in 2007 ($51 million), due principally to the weak US dollar.
Other results were also encouraging, with a record number of 97 PC-12 deliveries in 2008.
