UAE-headquartered Falcon Aviation has inaugurated a new VIP heliport at its Dubai South/Al Maktoum International (DWC) facility.

the heliport will be run and managed by its own personnel and will be available to all operators, corporates and private individuals arriving with their business jets at the Dubai South VIP terminal. Demand is expected especially from customers arriving from all the Arab states of the Persian Gulf, India and the Far East.

Situated adjacent to the VIP Terminal, the heliport has the capacity to park three large executive helicopters. According to a company statement, it will be used on an as-required-basis with just two hours notice. The company expects an initial demand for five movements a day, with two of its own helicopters available for charter. Falcon Aviation operates a variety of helicopters, including 10 Bell 412EP; three Airbus Helicopters EC130B4; four Leonardo/AgustaWestland AW109S/SP, two AW189 and two AW169.
