Kirkland, WA-headquartered completions company Greenpoint Technologies recently reeled in a contract from an undisclosed customer to perform an interior completion on board two Boeing 787 VIP corporate airliners.

According to a company statement, Greenpoint’s extensive 787 engineering experience played a key role in getting the contract, as it delivered the world’s first 787-8 VIP completion last year.

The contract marks the company’s third 787-8 and the industry’s first 787-9. The 787-8 has a range of 9,590 nm (17,760 km) and the 787-9 has a range of 9,950 nmi (18,430 km). Both completions projects will be designed in conjuncture with the client and Greenpoint’s inhouse design team.
