This news follows shortly after the Argentinian CAA (Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil de Argentina – ANAC) certified Embraer’s service center in Sorocaba, Brazil, to perform maintenance services on Embraer’s entire portfolio business aircraft registered in Argentina. According to an Embraer Executive Jets statement, an additional authorized service center in Buenos Aires will soon be named.
“We are thrilled with the initial operations of the Phenom 100 jets in Argentina, a market that is showing signs of recovery,” comments Embraer Executive Jets Latin America Vice President Gustavo Fonseca.
The Phenom 100 has a four passenger cabin, in its standard configuration, but it is capable of carrying up to seven passengers with one pilot. Its 1,178 nm range, with NBAA IFR reserves, enables non-stop flights from Buenos Aires to Bariloche, São Paulo, Brazil or Santiago, Chile.
